Our Directors

The Midwest Animation Promotion Society is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization best known for running Anime Central, the Midwest’s Largest Anime and Manga Convention.  The Board of Directors manages the affairs of the corporation, contractual, and legal obligations as well as set the direction for the events it produces.

 

The minimum number of Directors is three, but may vary from time to time at the Board’s discretion to a maximum of ten.  Each Director holds office for a term of three years unless they have been expressly elected for a shorter term.  Each Director’s term is staggered so that approximately one-third of the Directors are elected at each annual meeting of the Board.  Each Director shall hold office until his or her successor has been elected.

 

The organization's primary annual meeting event is Anime Central. Anyone who purchases a membership for M.A.P.S. is invited to attend Anime Central as a member of the organization.
